Question help !!! no heat

I have no hot coolant flowing through heater core. I've tried flushing the cooling system, I've replaced the flow control valve and have flowed water from a garden hose trough the heater core. I've changed the t-stat and the engine is coming up to operating temp. Any ideas as to what i'm overlooking?? One of the hoses from the heater core is warm and the other one is cold.

Thanks in advance
Joe

Thumbs up

I just flushed the cooling system again and made sure heater core wasn't cloged. i took the flow control valve and reversed it's direction and now I have more heat than needed. The oem one is part of the hose assembly so I bought one at parts store and installed with hose clamps.
