I have Hooker longtoobs, w/ 3" IRS (old school) y-pipe, and Borla cat back, and it sounds incredible!

Especially w/ that CC306

 

I have Edelbrock headers, and still have the stock Cat with my borla. Love the sound. No rasp.

 

Manifolds + Borla sounded very good...no rasp.

Mac midlengths + off road pipe + Borla was a little too raspy.

Mac midlengths + Mac high flow cat + Borla is best rap yet...sweet downshift...

Not using any plates...have it wide open.

 

H/C + FLP longtubes + dual cats + Borla (1-1/2" plate) = Sweet as hell sound.

 

I have some video's im my sig all with Longtubes borla no cats

It is loud very loud. I have a DMH Adj. Plate on it too so I can tone it down too.

 

how about stock manifolds no cats with open plate?

 

interesting, mostly good reviews, some feel it is too raspy.

Do any of you have sound clips of it, I'd like to actually hear it instead of it being described.

I was looking at gmmg instead but it's only 2.5" pipes - still an option I suppose though.

I just wanna make sure if I'm ponying up the money here that it's going to sound good enough to me as a daily driver. It will have cat still so some rasp will go away. Keep 'em coming.
