Check out Hooker or Magnaflow...Hooker is aluminized and Magnaflow is stainless steel...both are close in price (~$300)

Flowmaster is very inexpensive and Borla is quite the opposite...you're comparing two completely different set-ups...for the price of a Borla I'd advise a GMMG chambered exhaust system...

Diddo. Gained 3mpg just by getting rid of the Flowmaster. Go Hooker or Magnaflow.

flowmaster is better then borla because it flows better air and sounds a hell of alot better, and flowmasters never go bad, borla does and the price for borla is way to much. so flowmaster is the way to go, but thats just what i think.

I agree that Flowmaster is a decent set up, but how can an aluminized cat-back (Flowmaster) last longer than a stainless steel one (Borla)?

i beleive its because of how it is made on the inside, thats just what flomaster says when you by them.

Flowmaster also claims that there is minimal loss in hp/torque over any other muffler because of their patent cross-flow system...even though dyno's prove again and again that there are better preforming mufflers out there...

I have Borla and am extremely happy with them. If your willing to pay $600+ for an exhaust system then i would definitley look into getting either Borla or the GMMG chambered exhaust system. If you are on a smaller budget I would look into getting either Hooker or Magnaflow. Both are around the $300 range.

Also the Borla is an adjustable system that comes with different plates that allows you to choose the varying tones you're looking for.

Flow Bastards sound pretty good...
Depends on what series muffler you get...the DElta Flows are a bit better in the Performance Deptment....but the Borla systems are extremely expensive but you can adjust the noise level.

My Borla and im pretty sure all others are backed by a 1 million mile warranty directly from Borla. Plus this exhuast sounds very nice.

If you're like me, you're excited about modding your car and you're gonna go out and buy a cheap flowmaster muffler cause you figure, how bad can it be? I don't agree that it sounds good. The tone sounds very drone-like and started irritating me real soon. btw, the sound clips from their website seem to be filtered so the mufflers sound way smoother than in reality. the flowmaster makes my car sound like a sloppy gas guzzler at idle, and the only time it sounds decent is in the high revs. flowmaster isn't on the same half of the world when it comes to performance or quality. I've seen people run consistently faster 1/4 mile times after only switching from a flowmaster to a different exhaust system. also, I'll bet everything I own that a Borla will last longer than a flowmaster. In fact, borla has a lifetime warranty on all their products! please don't rush into buying an exhaust! It's a very important decision that you should take your time with! go listen to a flowmaster vs. borla and compare the construction yourself so you see what I'm talking about.

I'd have to say I love the way my flowmaster sounds especially at idle and low rpms.I dont like the Borla setup just because the pipes coming from the muffler exit on the same side limiting you to run certain tips.
