Bored to 52mm stock tb, uses same blades?

I've seen the stock bored out TB's on ebay, they go for half the price of an aftermarket one. Just curious do they use the same TB blades? If they do I know I'm somewhat decent with a dremel and could easily pull off the same thing. Of course I'd want to do it on a spare tb just in case. If its more trouble than its worth then I really don't care either at my power levels I probably won't see any gains anyway. Just looking for a new project to get into because I'm bored

How would they use the same blades when you increase the bore size from 48mm to 52mm.

And you would NEVER want to completely enlarge a throttle body(from 48mm to 52mm or 58mm) with a dremel or any hand held grinding or porting tool ......the TB bores need to be nice and consistant all the way through (IE:CNC)...........the unts from ebay(from Jblum), in addition to being precisionly CNC bored, have been redrilled for shaft bearings(instead of the factory bushings), and new better sealing(larger ha ha) throttle blades.....you can also send your TB in to him to have the work done on your exact unit, which is what I did...........Joe

Oh well was just looking for something to keep me busy, I have off for a few days so no harm no foul. Time can't pass fast enough for my cut out and LCA's to show up on my door. Thanks for the information though.

You're going to need more than a throttle body to keep you busy for a couple days. I had mine swapped in around an hour and a half or so. Sounds like you need to do a header install.

Haha I will never do another set of headers ever again, once was good enough for me. That was such a pain in the butt. It's pretty cloudy out today, I think it's going to rain otherwise I'd paint my calipers to keep me busy. Anyone know of any other little projects I could keep myself busy with?
