Normal driving hesitation

Here's the problem, sometimes when I start driving the car seems to bog/hesitate horribly in first gear. This is when I'm just starting to drive. Then all of a sudden it'll snap back and surge, then go back to normal

I'm not sure what to think, this has happened before but it was once last year now its happening almost frequently??? It seems to do it more often if the car is warm.

thanks guys,

~Jim~

I talked to a few people and they seem to agree that is a ignition system problem. I'm guessing maybe the MAP sensor or IAC or TPS may be the culprit. do any of you guys have experience with these sensors and what symptoms they may give out if they are failing?

Thanks,

~Jim~

Scan your engine while driving and look at the knock counts. Knock will pull timing and cause the car to bog.

Ok heres the story. Got some free time today and scoped the car. Came up with some troubling numbers. I am getting 16-20 deg of timing advance quite a few misfires came up in the index but failed to tell me which cylinder. My long term fuel trims are fairly high one side is 15.7 and the other is in the 20's. MAP came out to 9.4-9.7 Hg. I know for sure that one spark plug wire is arching to the valve cover, however I'm unsure if all this can be caused by only the wire arc.

I have a logged file if anyone would be kind enough to look at it it for me.

I had the same problem with mine and it was a plug wire resting against one of the tubes on my headers and it was arching under load, i just had to replace the wire and route it so i wouldnt touch the header.
