Bolt tighing order for LT1 heads

it is the same as for a SBC correct? Do you have a diagram? I have a incomptant friend that just doesn't have faith! thanks guys!

Its in the Haynes manual, if he has one of those. If not im sure it is, should be the same for all engines with 17 bolts

Thank you guys, he is trying to tell me there is a "differnt pattern" I'm thinking maybe for a LS1 but I don't know

Basically you are working your way from the center, out, Chiltons has it as well as the Haynes.

I like to make about 5 passes instead of 3, although I imagine its not that critical, since 3 works.
