I am curious how far i can go with just bolt on's?

I am doing headers, full cat back, CAI, new injectors, new opti, and a new fuel pump. Along with a full tuneup.

What getting a pcm tune be worth it without internal work?

How fast will this take me on the track? I am hoping for mid 13's with this stuff done.

Is this possible? Or am i crazy?

BTW, its a stock 97 z with a 6 speed and 3:42's

 

You should be in the mid 13's. Do a tune. I got one from madz28 and got 20 at the wheels. Gears may get you in the 12's.

 

IMO I wouldn't waste money on a new fuel pump or injectors unless your are bad. I would take that money and throw some 4.10's in the back. That would get you mid 13's for sure.

 

I do alot of highway driving, would 4.10's still work well?

I still need to pull down a decent MPG.

 

w/ a m6 4.10s is your best bet....unless you are really worried about mileage(which won't be affected much) in that case go w/ 3.73
