Bolt on opinions.

I'm looking into buying a few things and am just curious as to what i should buy as in what performs better.. or really just opinions since i know a lot of people are gonna buy different things and like them. My current bolt ons are in sig.

Ok for one. A new throttle body. 52mm is it going to help and what is good? is holleys smooth and good or what should i go with there?

Underdrive pulleys, where should i go here. Don't know a lot about them and not sure how much they help.

Gears. I really want 3.73's, the rearend is one thing i have no idea about. What should i buy for this and how hard is it to install.

Question on hypertech. I never really noticed a difference with this, should i ditch it and send for pcmforless or how would you go on that? because also need it adjusted for new gears right? so speedo is accurate.

Also all suspension I could do. I lookin into whats going to run me the quickest. LCA, relo brackets, torque arm. etc. I'm getting there

If there is anything im missing let me know. I'm really lookin to buy so i can run at the track and get the most. Really looking for the easy stuff. No heads or cam work.. yet.

Thanks guys

Looks like you've started off right with the CAI, and the exhaust. As far as the TB, most people don't really count that as a performance mod. The gains going to a 52mm aren't really going to be very noticeable. The only time I've seen people upgrade the Throttle body would be to a 58mm when they get a 383 stroker and Heads/Cam. You can though use a throttle body air foil if you're really wanting to do something with your throttle body, but even the gains with that are minimal.

Most of the opinions I've read on this board about the hypertech aren't too positive. Madz28.com and pcmforless are the two most popular and effective(about 10-15rwhp).

With the underdrive pulleys you can decide. Some people upgrade their pulleys some don't, but they're not really worth alot a hp themselves. You can check out a dyno graph here.

Probably the biggest gain for ETs in the 1/4 mi. would be going to drag radials. Traction is really a problem in these cars.

As far as the rear end gears, I'm not sure, I think the hypertech can reprogram your speedo for you, but I know that those the two reprogrammers above can do it.

Also most people with m6's go to 4.10s in the rear since we already have 3.42s back there. I've heard you can't really notice a difference with going to just the 3.73's plus your mileage doesn't really suffer too badly either since we have that really low 6th gear.

Hope this helps

Yeah that would be pretty hard on my rear end.. but i dont have sticky tires i got proxes fz4s on 18" rims so traction is gonna be my hardest thing. Should be able to get it down though.

I would go with a 4.10 gear, Nitto's and the suspension work. From what I have read the TB isn't worth the money.

I'd ditch the hypercrap and go with PCMforless. My friends car (which is identical to mine except that it has a stall) ran like crap when he had the hypertech tuning. Then we loaded my PCMforless tuning up onto it and it ran alot smoother and pulled harder up top.
