Question BMR or PA K-member ?

I'm not sure which one I want. Based on what I've read on LS1Tech, chrome moly doesn't like to flex which makes it a bad choice for street driving.

Any personal experience / recommendations?

Have had the P-A for 2 years now . No problems on the street or at the track.

You may want to do a search to find more info.

I have heard the same thing w/ chromoly(welds may crack with street driving). I went with mild steel on mine, partly because of that. The difference isn't that much weight-wise. If you inspect the welds often, you shouldn't have a problem w/ the chromoly stuff.

you have another choice also...www.AJEracing.com
i've been running the BMR k-member and lower A-arms for about 2500miles on the street and have no complaints, altho i need an alignment, my fault not the k-members, like said b4 do a search under chromoly there was a very good discussion on it in the advanced tech section not that long ago, i'm sure it will answer alot if not all of your questions or make you ask more

I know there has been at least one fairly informative thread on "PA vs. BMR K-member" in LT1 Tech within the last three months. And in the same time frame, there was an extensive discussion on Advanced Tech regarding facts and myths about chrome moly.

Need to "search".

Aaaah, NOW I found it... I was searching for K-member, and the thread you were talking about had "Kmember" in the title so it never came up.

Excellent thread. Looks like I'll go with BMR. Thanks guys.

Ok, one more question, then I'll let this one sink to the bottom for good.

Does the BMR K-member shift the engine position at all? I remember reading that the PA moves it back about 1/2"-1" .
