Question Winterizing??Couple Questions

Ok,I live in Minnesota and winter has hit or is very close.I'm gonna put my car into storage for about 5-6 months. Now my question is is there anything i should do to the car to help it get through the winter like disconnecting the negative battery terminal?I'm also gonna be adding Jet Hot LT's and a Lt4 Hot cam kit while she's sitting. This is my first time storing the car and don't want anything to freeze up during that time period(tranny,engine,etc.).Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would fill the gas tank up as much as you can and put some fuel stabilizer in the tank. Then take the negative battery termial off. If it's going to be stored where mice can get at it throw a bunch of fabric softner sheets around inside the car, and around the outside of the car. Then, check the tire PSI every once in a while to make sure you don't get a flat. That's about all you need to do. Good Luck.

I suggest Bouce too. They smell great. Just don't use mothballs. Those are for boats and snowmobiles.

Hmm, I've been a member since the first year. I believe that was 2000. We organize events every year. And have an event at Brainerd every year. We go up there and drive around on the track. It's a pretty fun event. The guys really don't use the calender much, so don't go by that. Have you checked out the Message board?? A lot of the event planning is posted on there, so you might want to check that out.

The club meets the second Saturday of the month. So, the next club meeting will be November 8th. The information where we meet is on the webpage too. Here is the link to the Meeting. information

If you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask. Later
