BMR K-member question
I recall reading advertisements that claim approximately 100 lb savings with k-member(with mounts), tubular control arms and special shocks. I think the k-member alone was good for 40-50lbs and 2-3" of additional header clearance. I guess when you get your old one out you can weigh it and your new one on your bathroom scale and let us all know.

I just found something on LS1 Speeds web page that says a 32lb. savings. Thats fairly descent I suppose.

Are these weights that you've measured? The reason I ask is because I have heard that the bottom control arms actually weigh more than the factory pieces. I dont find that hard to believe because every factory suspension part I have replaced with an aftermarket piece so far has been significantly heavier. With the exception of the HAL shocks of course.
It will be nice to actually buy a part that is a weight savings; like the K-member.
Thanks,
Jeff
