Blinker Arm Broken

How do replace the blinker arm going into the steering column? Do I have to take the steering whell off to get the cover off?

It looks like one of the two brackets that hold the arm broke off. Can I replace just this part or what? Thanks.

If it was not the lever that broke, you will have to go into the column to replace the switch (#23).

I need to bring this one back up. My Blinker stalk (lever) just swings freely up and down without engaging the blinker. I have the column taken apart, and notice that a little arm that connects the turn signal switch (#12 in that blow up) to the lever is broken. Is #23 (SWITCH ASM, PIVOT &(PULSE)) also what I need to replace? Thanks for the help!

Actually, looking at the diagram again, #11 (ARM ASM, SIGNAL SWITCH) is what I found broken. How would I determine if the #23 part was also broken. I already went ahead and got a new turn signal switch (#12)

What happened to your high/low beams?

So, the #11 wasn't broken in yours, or does #23 come with it?

Also, the little bearing came out, and I find are almost impossible to get all of them back in. Did you have any troubles with this?

I think I am missing either an 11 or 21. By stalk just flops back and forth. But it goes up and down just fine, even though the signals don't work. My brights don't work either.
