black box with vaccum line?

I was removing the wiring harness on the car to
repaint the engine bay and there was a black box
underneath the battery with a vaccum line going into
it. While trying to remove it I snapped off the
nipple. Anyone know what that box is?

Just glue it or JB Weld it, making sure it doesn't leak. Its not a high tech part and its not under any real load. It just needs to not leak.
