Billet underdrive pully. Look here
Billet underdrive pully. Look here
I messed up my pully trying to tap it off with a hammer. I chipped the
edge of it. I was told I knock the balance off it by doing that, and I needed
a new one. I was looking on e-bay and found some real cheap underdrive
pully just for the crank. Does anyone have any info on this type of pully.
Has anyone used this type of pully? I am thinking of a purchase, unless
someone says otherwise.

Re: Billet underdrive pully. Look here
LT1 is internally balanced... as long as the pulley works, it works.
That pulley you posted is one of those piggy-back pulleys anyways, still needs the stocker bolted on.
I love how the ebay says the billet pulley equals less weight, when it still uses the factory pulley.

But its looks like its only a "pulley". And its priced like its only a "pulley". The stock piece is both a "pulley" and a "harmonic damper". You need the damper to continue to function, so you pull the stock integrated pulley/damper off, sandwich the U/D pulley behind it and put the stock piece back on, to help keep your crankshaft in one piece. As Javier pointed out, you just added weight.
