Billet or Plastic MAF Ends?

I'm looking to get some ported aftermarket MAF ends so it will be easier to tune with. But which one's are better to get? The plastic or billet one's.

Plastic are no good..
While theoretically less 'heat soak', the 'ears' crack off too easily..
Stick with aluminum..

The part I don't understand is getting "aftermarket MAF ends so it will be easier to tune with."

Because with aftermarket MAF ends they are COMPLETLY SMOOTH so they don't throw the calibration off as much.. THen what lil they do throw it off you just adjust the MAF table's

BTW i'm going with the billet one's

I've had Whisper plastic MAF ends on my 97 for about 4 years now, but I'm not real convinced they did much of anything.

You must be one of the lucky ones that the ears didnt break/crack[they are the nylon/plastic ones right?]
I carefully tightened mine [not over tightened] and it didn't last 6 months..
