I am going to have Lloyd Elliot port my heads for them to fit 2.00 manley intake valves and 1.56 exhaust valves. These will go with my 10308-1 spring kit with 1.6 gold crane sa roller rockers. Am I suppose to change my spring height to get these bigger valves to fit? Do I need to do anything else to my heads in order to get these bigger valves to fit? Also how long of valves am I suppose to get or does anything that simple says "these valves are for small block chevy" going to work? Thanks for any help.

 

Why not let Lloyd take care of it all, he will setup your valves and springs properly. The regular SBC valves will work, but will not allow you to use SA rockers because the valve tip is not extended and there will be interference between the rocker and retainer.
