bigger crank, will i need a diff timing set?

i currently have a stock crank and an lt4 extreme duty timing set. i''m getting a 396 stroker crankshaft, will i need to get a different timing set? thanks

No, stroke has nothing to do with the distance between the crank and cam centerline.

i meant about the gear physically fitting around the crank

The crank is the same size....the only difference is the stroke. This has nothing to do with the size of journals (main or rod) or the size of the end of it. The only thing that changes on a stroker crank is the distance from the main journal to the rod journal increases giving you a longer stroke.
