Best way to get to and clean the EGR?

Hey, can someone give me a good link to cleaning and/or replacing the EGR valve? I know where it's located thanks to shoebox's site, but what I don't know is a good step-by-step procedure for getting to it, taking it off, checking it, cleaning it, and putting it back. Can anyone give me a hand?

Thanks,
Bryan

Here's a little bump,
call it a hop, skip, and a jump.
It'll take you to the top,
to hopefully thicken the plot.
I lay back and I think,
Have I had to much to drink.
Must be the truth,
For me to write such a spoof.
Let me stop this now,
Before someone has a cow,
Wipe the sweat from your brow,
And someone answer this man now...

What have I done.....

OMG dave that's the weirdest thing I've ever seen. But he's right, you know, someone should answer this guy right away! Anyone have something? Just offer what you can, I really need to know how to get this done.

The EGR valve is on the rear of the intake manifold. It's held on by two bolts. Use an inspection mirror and flashlight to look at it.

Reach back there with your hand and you will feel the nuts that hold it on.
I lay on the car so I can get both my hands back there but your working by feel mostly.
For the most part anything on the back of the manifold you are doing by feel, I have block off plates on the EGR stuff so I only have to worry about the fuel stuff, and the occasional oil pressure sender.

By the way, I'm all over how to get this. I have recently become an expert on "things" that can't be seen on the LT1.

That makes one of us! We'll take a crack at it on Friday then, maybe my stupid SES light will stop coming on intermittently. :\
