Best way to find out what gears i have?

What is the best way to find out what gears i have? I have been looking for a site with a good gear calculater and can only seem to find one for older car? need some help.. thanks

look in your driver side door jam or your glovebox and find the list of codes (options) you car came with. its a little white sticker.
its either a 3.23 or a 2.73...if you find a code GU2 you have the wonderful 2.73. most common A4 gear...
here is a list:
GU2 Axle, Rear 2.73 Ratio
GU3 auto tranny
GU4 Axle, Rear 3.08 Ratio
GU5 Axle, Rear 3.23 Ratio
GU6 Axle, Rear 3.42 Ratio
