Best spring for stock heads?

Anyone used the Crane duals common on LS1? what abot 918s? Youd need custom locks for the 918s, I dont know if Crane makes stuff for the LT1s

I think the springs will be decided more by your cam than your heads.

if youre stayin stock cam and just wanna upgrade a little, go for the LT4 springs, 26 bucks off GMPD and up to .525 lift

Stock heads as in stock spring pocket

hotcma is a stock cam to me

I usually run much more aggressive stuff.

good spring that will work without maching the head is CC985-16 good for .600" lift at an installed height of 1.80"

EX-612s...running them now Stock spring pocket, fit on stock seat and lift up to .600

Crane makes a dual spring that fits the oem head pocket. The 99893's are good for .600 lift and are rated at 391# per inch. with about 120# seated.

Whats the seat pressure at normal installed height on the comp 985s?

120 lbs, thast not enough seat pressure for me.

Anyone runnign the Crane duals everyone runs on the LS1s?
