I have the Borla and think it sounds great. Of course I have $25,000 worth of other mods so that might be a part of it too. Anyway the Borla will allow you to change the sound and flow with plates. Also, the quality is good.

The people aren't looking at you because they like it pal. Its more like OMG where is that obnoxious sound coming from. Most people get really anouyed by that exaust. Other then a few in the trailer park crowd. How it sounds to each person is an opinion. But when it is loud enough to annouy people thats when thangs start becoming ILLEGAL. Get a nice mild throaty sounding exaust that has a cut out , if you like that, so you can enjoy your obnoxious sounds at the track.

To echoe the sediments that were to told to me last year when I proposed a similiar quetstion. Your car is a muscle car and it's suppose to be loud!

Vote: SLP Loudmouth, awesome sound with a LT1 and made of polished stainless steel, will last a long time and looks great.

Don't beleive everythang people say to you pal. Its what they say about you that really matters. The reason its only $100 is because its a glass pack with a shiney exaust tip. Mr muscle car suppossed to be load , i think you got it allittle off , Its a muscle car its suppossed to sound "GOOD".

They quit making muscle cars back in the 70s if you ask me.

I love B&B triflo, good deep resonant sound at idle and when you open it up it sounds awesome. But its pricey.

as far as the sound goes for this exhaust, i must say i love it. i just wish i had headers to compliment it.
I have heard this setup on a cammed 95Z. Its awesome! I highly endorse the GMMG, but this has a GMMG sound for a few hundred less. The banks got a lil raspy higher up and lost a little 'form'. The GMMG doesn't do any of this. My vote, if you have the coin, get GMMG, if you want to save a few hundred snag one of these, its worth the money.

What ever you do dont get a Flowmaster catback. Everyone and their mom has one. You can tell a Flowmaster coming from anywhere. But you cant tell if its a Chevy Silverado or a Chevy Z28. I had a Flowmaster catback but got rid of it when I got the headers cause it made it sound like **** even more. My flowmaster was raspy as hell when you rev past 4krpms. But if you like that "my Tail pipe is in a bucket of water" sound then go for it

My vote would be for SLP 20TL. Very refined queit yet Loud catback. Best bang for you buck as far as sound and quality.

Edit:

Borla sounds way better than your glass pack
LOL. A Borla would be worse than a glasspack. Its just straight pipe with the leftover exhaust going through the muffler. Do you even own an Fbody or is your Conquest your daily driver? I would expect an expert muffler sound man to know how Borla sounds and how it works. Its just straight pipe with a cutout on the end.

Prob because you had a 1 chamber race muffler. 20tl's sounds nice. I like those. Whats wrong mighty mouse . Did I hurt your little SLP feelings. If you could READ you would see I own an FBODY. Don't go cry on me now because your car sounds like crap and you don't know why.
