Need to buy some rings since my pistons almost slid out of the block during disassembly, so which would be a good ring to handle the rigours of everyday driving and the high rpm beating I will give it at the track?

By the way, money is a factor, I cant drop 500 bucks in rings for example.

I like the Childs and Alberst rings, very expensive but well worth it, the TSS total seal rings are nice as well. I have also used Speed pro plasma file to fit rings and had good results with them.

 

Oh and unless its a track car only get a standard tension oil ring.
