Best place to buy GM opti?

By "best" I mean cheapest.

The best price I've found is a GMPP Vented Opti from Jegs for $386 shipped to my door.

I saw those names already, but I don't really wanna call them.

How much did you pay from him? I found it on summit for 309. Earlier searches from summit said "Item not available." but the GM part number I had from jegs pulled it up.

So I called Jason Cromer...

$245 shipped, + $30 core charge. He said GM just added the core charge back in July.

Awesome deal, I'm glad I called. Thanks guys.

I just got a NONvented (which are usually more expensive) AC Delco Unit off ebay (brand new) for 215 bucks... I think they had the vented ones for under 200 bucks. I had to wait awhile until one popped up though. Keep checkin ebay till one pops up. Or if you need one now, Id prolly go with Cromer...

Yup, although you can go the other routes and maybe get a real Delco unit.

I just snagged one of those as well. There were several available at the time, both vented and unvented.

I was very nervous about the piece, but, it appears to be well made and well sealed. The rotor turns smoothly and has no play.

New motor is being built. Plan on installing the motor this winter and testing early next year.

So, I'm still a while away from seeing how well it holds up. How about you?
