Hey guys I am wanting some intellegent input on the best top end mods. At the track I run just fine out of the hole, but right around the 1/8th I start to fall flat.

The best mods I've heard thus far for top end are: 52mm TB (which I have also heard I dont need until I am in the 350whp range, a good dyno tune, and valvetrain (ie. 1.6 rrs, springs, etc) what are you guys using to help out your top end power?

 

a cam would be good for high rpm if thats what u mean

 

If you really want to gain good top end power, you need to start looking into a different cam, better flowing heads, and even some intake manifold work. Bolt-ons will only get you so far.

 

HEADS, thats what limits the top end on a lt motor
