Best LT1 Dyno and Tune in Houston?

I'm moving to Houston in a few weeks and need to get to the dyno and have some PCM tweaks done on my 383 LT1. I know Houston has to be one of the most F-body friendly places around.

Anyone who has been really happy with a dyno and/or PCM tuner situation there in Houston, please clue me in. Thanks.

Try out HPE.. horsepowerengineering.com I think is their site.. They have both dynojet and mustang dyno (mustang dynos are better for dyno tuning cars).. they currently have a super sick LT1 car running 8's I think..

I know many people that know the owners and the workers personally so I would naturally suggest that place..

Was just down at HPE, Did some dynoing, He didnt tune the car, But I would recommend them over any other shop in Houston. They are one of the few that still are glad to work on LT1's and he could tune it and get you fixed up

I might try that place as well when I get my 383 together here in a few months. I called MTI and they kinda blew me off. I think MTI does mostly LS1 stuff.

MTI hates LT1s, thats why they blew you off. Go to HPE, the owner has a 97 SS and the shop manager is none other than Rick Intrau, who owns the worlds fastest LT1
