Just an FYI:
The slip fit on my JetHot was relatively loose compared to others. I mean, it "slipped" right on. I have read others had to sand it done some being that it was very tight. Anyway, mine haven't leaked yet. I did do a seriers of short warmups and cool downs thinking that would help it seal better. I suppose it worked. No carbon or anything on the outside of the header tube. I think mine was an extreme case too. I recommmend Jethots to anyone.

just say no to slip

i have installed both...we have had some problems with some of the slip tube designs..........

so i dont want the slip tube setup....

im thinking these pacesetters are looking good.....

any hp numbers out of these.....and how about warranty and longevity?

He means the primary to clear the steering shaft being slip-fit, not the collector. I bought a pair of 3" to 2 1/2" flowmaster reducers to clamp on the end of my Pacesetters so I don't have to weld on them and ruin the coating.

so no one makes a header thats non-slip tube design....i have the motor out....so the steering knuckle shouldnt be an issue(i hope)

As stated before Pacesetter, TPIS and a few others make LTs with non slip tube designs.

Go with the pacesetters, they are awesome for the price and easy to install. Trust me on this one. They also sound bas A**.

so the pacesetters have NO slip tube on the primaries and they are long tubes and i can get a ypipe to go with them and coated?

see i had shorties before..but i want LT's now...
