best long tube header?......non slip tube type only

who makes them?...........

i am looking for a longtube header that does NOT use the slip configuration...

it would be plus if i could find a package deal that included the ypipe as well...

this for a 1993 auto car......

and YES, i did a search ..but nothing on a non slip tube design headers...........

anyone that has done headers knows what i mean when i say slip tube/non slip tube design
..
i am looking for a LT that doesnt have the primaries in two pieces.... ..... thanks in advance

You won't find one..... there's aren't any made, basically because it's nearly IMPOSSIBLE to install them without having that slip tube, seeing your steering shaft goes directly THROUGH the header...

KOOKS is supposedly coming out with a set of LT1 long tube headers by August.

PPC(Proven Performance Concepts) Should be done making their LT's for the LT1. They offer the nonslip primary style.

TPIS offers LT's for the LT1

I'm pretty sure that FLP's aren't slip on.

I think that is pretty much it for the LT1

FLP didn't have a slip tube like Hooker.

TPIS LT's don't have the slip tube. Just installed them.

pacesetters, I just installed mine today, they fit GREAT!!! they great for the price, $415 coated from Summit.

I belive the FLPs on the passenger side one of the primaries has a slip tube action happening

I cant remember any posts about the slip leaking.... and there are LOTS of poeple running hooker and jet hots.

pacesetter LTs are slip fit, but you can take a slip fit header and have your muffler shop put on a 3 bolt flange for ya!!
