Optima is by no means light....40 lbs
I use a Hawker odyssey in mine, which weighs 13.5 lbs, but I am too scared to run my fans with the car off because I heard they dont have much of a reserve. With the car on though everything works fine......fans, heater, ac, radio.....just when the car is off that I get leary.

yeah.....i was assuming he was gonna run the fans while the car was off....in that case i wouldnt trust a lightweight battery, but a red top weighs just above 31 lbs, which is slighty below average, but has the best cranking and reserve power ive seen
