They may be pricey but consider the simple fact if you pay say 250 for a regular set of lifters and persay due to your valve train you kill them, well buying another set would equal just about what morel cost.... so just like with 10 bolt rears, why build them when you can buy a 12 bolt. just imo

If ya got a billet core it may be OK,but don't try it on a regular cast core custom cam,or off the shelf.
My opinion is to get the hyd roller specs ground on a billet core for mech rollers.
