my uncle has a gm dealership w/ a service department. i was wondering what parts i could get through him to improve my ride. i need a clutch becuase its grinding like hell at low rpms, also the shocks are moaning and groaning so i was looking at that too. What kind of parts from gm would be the best replacement? i was thinking 1LE shocks and an LT4 clutch? what would you suggest i get him to order for my car? He could also get me a hotcam and lt4 intake/heads for cheap. im not looking to go that far into mods right now though.

 

Front brakes and driveshaft from a 98 or later f body are improvements.

 

is there a difference between 1le shocks and regular? how about the lt4 clutch?
