I'll probably just get the Hooker Catback. It's only $300.

Hooker is aluminized, it will rust and if you dont see it on the outside, I am telling you it will on the inside, hell the stock exhaust is Stainless steel, so why go backwards.. Get the Magnaflow or SLP 2OTL, with the SLP being a little better IMO. Dont get aluminized piping you'll regret it.

FWIW, the Magnaflow is about the same price (I paid $330 shipped from Jegs) - but without the rust issue.

The Hooker tips aren't the best looking in the world. They tend to stick out a little too far.

Magnaflow or SLP 2OTL are the way to go.

SLP/ Magnaflow

I also think that SLP sounds pretty sweet too, xxsaint69x uses it on his cc306 cammed Z and it sounds damn nice. There was a man who posted on there when he took off his aluminized catback it looked ok on the outside but when the pipes got disconnected a pile of rust accumulated on the floor. Moral of the story: Buy a quality exhaust.

You might have to do some digging around, but they're generally in the $390-$400 range from what I've seen.

Thanks jkipp84, I wasnt sure exactly who it was just reading the post. If I wouldn't have found my GMMG used, it would have been a SLP 2OTL for me. Price wise Ill have to get back to you.

What's loudmouth made of btw? And what does it normally go for on price? I was thinking of going with a complete hooker exhaust going from the LT's,Y-pipe,Catback. But I've heard the Loudmouth sounds mean. Would it be too mean with LT's and no cat?

Its made of 304 Stainless Steel, some people think its too loud with LT's and no cats, but why are you buying a loudmouth if you dont want loud ya know? I am running into the same problem with my GMMG and no cats, it might be too loud, but then again, I dont mind scaring the mustangs.
