Best Distributor for LT1?
My couzins distributor died 
in his 95 Z yesterday. Should he just go buy another stock one, or is there a pretty good aftermarket one he should get instead?

ya, The GM part costs lots more but it doesn't suck... For important parts like the optispark you should try to get GM parts, Try to reserve Autozone for parts that dont matter (Brake pads, rotors, etc...)

Well, there's the Dynaspark, which is supposed to be an aftermarket improved version of the Optispark:
