Best clutch

I trashed my clutch at the track this weekend. What is a good clutch? I will probably add a cam and heads this winter. I do not drive my car alot but still want something smooth.

Thanks

Best or most inexpensive?

I love my Mcleod Street Twin smooth and strong at the same time.

You pay for what you get.... I run in the 12s and race twice a week every week, had about a year and love it to death.

I will never buy another clutch! rebuilds are cheap too, give them a call, they are great people.

Over a year of weekly abuse and still holding.

It really depends on the power you want to put out of your LT1. I used to use the SLP clutch and pressure plate set, which I liked alot for my application, but then again I didnt have a cam or heads either. Centerforce is a good company, but if you do a search on their clutches for the T-56 you will most likely find that alot of people have been having trouble with them, something about the disk itself being a little too thick. They were supposed to be fixing it, but I havent looked in to it lately. SPEC is supposed to be relativly good too. The best, however, would be the McCloud Street Twin with the adjustable master cylinder. have heard nothing but good about the Street Twin, but it is also expensive...somewhere around $1000....or at least it was the last time I checked....which was about 5 months ago. Well there's my .02

I just purchased a Mcleod Street Twin from Thunder Racing. Is the adjustable master cylinder required? If so where do you get one?
Thanks

The adjustable master should come in the kit from Thunder Racing.
