2nd for Moroso! Had K&N and it cracked at the bottom and the seam! Do a search and you'll get alot more opinions faster!

Re: best cai

They are all gonna be about the same exept for the G2. You won't notice a difference in performance. If your looking for some show, look around for a polished GMPP/SLP CAI.....

Re: best cai

I've been happy with my K&N. Get whichever one is cheaper as long as it's not a G2..........

Re: best cai

I've had the K&N for about a year now, and I'm very pleased with it. I think I would have gone with the Lingenfelter, if I new about it before I bought the K&N, just for the better look of the polished tubes.

Re: best cai

Well I just put LPE cold air intake in my car. I had a similar thread up few weeks ago and I was told that the LPE(Lingenfelter) is the one with the biggest air filter. It's not the prettiest but I cared more about performance then power.

They all work and offer the same basic gains.

Re: best cai

I've had the K&N for almost 5 years now and no problems....as said above, they all do what they're supposed to do and give close to the same gains.

The ling looks similar to the K&N, the polished ones are the GMPP(polished SLP) and AS&M......

Re: best cai

Lingenfelter because its the cheapest. They all perform about the same. Kinda like long tubes, the power difference between any 2 is minimal at best. Pick them based on price and quality.

Re: best cai

I personally like the AS&M. Big 3" tube, good looking chrome, and a big K&N on the end. It was the first mod I made on the car when I purchased it new in 94, and it still looks and runs great. Be sure you do not forget the 1LE elbow.

Oh god not another one of these posts that could be answered with a quick use of the search feature.
They all offer the same gains except the G2.

Re: best cai

I vote for the SLP, I think it is the best looking one. Performance is almost identical between all of them, except the G2. So I went with what looks the best.
