I got a 94 z28 with a 6 speed tranny and i was getting off the highway last week and when i hit the clutch and brought it out of 5th gear to bring it to 4th it made a weird noise kinda like a broken bearing rolling and then it stopped. this past weekend it happened 2 or 3 more times and on sunday when i was on my lunch break it was doing it everytime i put the clutch to the floor. I talked to my stepfather and he said he thinks its the throwout bearing or a thrust bearing and he said it slides in and out of a fork type of think when u put the clutch down. After he told me that i realized it does sound like a broken bearing like on a skateboard. just wondering if anyone knows what this is or if hes wrong what it is or what it could be and what i gotta do to fix it.
