the stock tb is a 52 mm you will see minimal gains but for 150 and the bbk logo and finish you canty go wrong...and you could always have it ported

Stock is 52mm??? That's the first I've heard this one. Stock is actually 48mm. For $150 I'd definitely do it. Remember that if it's a 58mm you'll need to port the manifold out to 58mm as the stock opening is 52mm (not the TB, stock is still 48mm for that).

You are correct on the throttle body, it is a 48mm stock. As for the openings in the intake, they are actually an oddball size of 54mm. As for the original question, for a 150 bucks, I would buy it, that is a good deal. The easy way of knowing what size it is is to get a micrometer and measure the bores.

If the TB is a 58mm i'd buy it and use it. If the TB is only a 52mm i'd pass and just get a ported stocker as they're usually more reliable and trouble free.

bbk tb

Ihad the 52mm last year but IMO it was a waste of money.I,M going back to the stock 48MM one w/ a slp air foil. I found out that the car needs atune to get the most out of the tb. I also lost bottom end torque, had to modify the cruise control linkage, the plastic cover no longer fits, the throttle spring is tighter(not a good thing in my opinion!) and related to tuning the shifts feel sluggish. Unless your doing H/C,ETC the stocker and air foil is fine.BTW i am also going to be selling this thing.

The diameter of the bores on a stock LT1 intake is 52mm. There is a small chamfer that makes them look like they are 54mm, but they are not.
