Question BBK or Holley 52mm??

Looking to get a 52mm throttle body since I researched and found out that a 54mm flowed enough air to feed Injuneer's Wonder, so obviously, I don't even need that.

Anything against either one? Holley or BBK?? Appearance is a 0 outta 10 on the importance scale.

Just lemme know.

Its really going to come down to a matter of appearance. The Holley looks alot better in my opinion, but in the long run, they both do the same job.

neither for quality reasons. ebay's bored stocker for me.

i can polish it up if i want it polished, i can buy a "billit" plate if i want one of those and i'm not going to spend 400 for me having to fix something brand new.

Yep..that is rediculous that no company can make a TB right for under $400.... I had to make several mods to my Holley to make it work correctly....blades wouldn't close 100%..TPS showed 2-5% all the time...and idle air passage venturi was missing, causing the IAC to be open way too far all the time, sometimes to the max.

Cost me $150 to have my stocker ported to a 52mm, why buy a new one?

What I really said :

On the engine dyno, making approx 500 flywheel HP, my 58mm TB was only open 77%, and opening it farther did not increase measured air flow. Calculating the open area, you could come to the conclusion that I could have had the same results with a 52mm TB open 100%.

lol...well, I wont be making 500 any time close, so if you found out your brute was good at 77%, a 52mm at 100%, you could conclude, would still be overkill for me since I still wouldn't be at 500hp.... unless I added some stickers.

But thanks again, Injuneer I can get a used Holley or a used BBK from my buddy's junkyard for $150, I just didn't know which was better.

That Holley is pretty though... lol

EDIT: Oh I see I put 54mm on my first post
