bbk headers ,y-pipe combo

I just bought the combo for my 94'z28 a4 and will be installing them in a few days.My question is if anyone knows the least difficult way to install them? I have access to a lift if that makes it any easier. Thanks for any advice

There is no easy way to install the BBK headers. I spent one day by myself, taking everything off, then my son showed up the next day to help me install them. The driver side is the easiest, and with the rod disconnected from the steering column, you can drop the header down from the top. The passenger side has to go in from the bottom. Take your time, use sealent on the gaskets, and spend the money for the locking header bolts. The biggest issue is when you put the spark plugs back in, you will need to modify the spark plug socket, by cutting a groove in the socket, so that you can slip it over the #7 plug. Routing the spark plug wires are critical, and keep you hands clean. As if you install the spark plugs and wires, and you have grease on you hands, and you get grease on the plugs and wires, you will have arching problems. When I install my plugs and wires, I used some of that electrical degreaser to clean everything. (You will also probaly need to extend the wires on the O2 sensor on the passenger side, and insulate it. Pretty straight forward.) I put a set on, and was impressed with the results at the strip, especially when using the Nitrous.
