How can i get a set of 96-97 bbk shorty headers to fit my 94 trans am, will i need to just get a y pipe made up.

don't even try to make them fit. 96-97 headers suck compared to 93-95 style. Just do headers once and do it right. You will probably spend just as much doing this as you would the single cat style plus you will have smaller gains.
