Battery Tie-Down?

My battery is very loose, I had to throw a couple bungee cords on there today for autocross. Shouldn't there be some stock mchanism to secure the battery? It slides all over the place... thats bad.

Help!
Thanks!

A sliding battery is bad. Not sure what your vehicle is or if you moved the battery, but my 94 needed the battery tray/ overflow reservoir PN 10402687 since the previous owner broke the hold down off. Only cost $24.00.

Year One sells a battery hold down. I've got one, it's pretty nice.

Hard to believe you still have room for the battery up front, with those two hair dryers in there......

I said I have one, I didn't say it was on my car

The battery is in a sealed battery box from summit in the spare tire well.

How fast does year one ship?? I broke my tie down the other day. Does it bolt to the existing tie down(that little block) and one of those holes in the frame rail?? Thanks.

Ahh, yes. For my next question.
I have that 'little block'. Do one of the year one tiedowns work better? Is it worth the $$$? If no, how do I actually use the block to bolt down the battery?

Not sure how they work. My battery tray broke, so this looks like a better fix. It LOOKS(i dont have one yet) like it uses that bolt and a hole in the frame, im gonna call them in the morning.
