battery hold down brackets?

battery hold down brackets?

do you guys use any special hold down brackets for your battery in its stock location? mine currently has nothing, but i need something to take it to the track.
also, what else would i need to run at the track?

The brackets are built into the overflow tank. YOurs probably did like mine and the battery leaked a little acid and the backets wore out and broke off. They are kind of cheap anyways.

What they told me to do was get a bungee cord. I think it is like 9 or 12 inches long?? And attacth it where it goes around the back of the battery where the terminals are and that should pass inspection.

I have one of THESE that I bought from Yearone. They work great and as you can see, they aren't that expensive or hard to install.
