Battery charge affects performance?

Would a really weak battery affect my 1/4 mile time in any way? I'm afraid using my manual fan switch on high in the staging lanes is sucking too much power. Could the battery drain be negating the cooling advantage?

Low voltage will reduce fuel pump output and possibly coil output.

If your alternator is working properly it'll be putting out 13.5 to about 14 volts during your run. You shouldn't be low on juice that way.

but if your battery is low.The alt will boost up volts and amps to recharge it. so, the alt is sucking hp off the motor in order to recharge to battery.
