Unhappy banks 1 and 2 lean condition

hey guys i put a cold air induction, ported maf and headers on my 96 z28 now i have a 171 and 174 code. how would i fix this problem? the car runs good but gets really hot under the hood.
also has a popping on decelleration. i have a adj. fuel reg. but its not installed yet. will that fix this or do i need a programer to change fuel mixture? any info would be great thanks.

Make sure your intake elbo is on the throttle body correctly, especially the bottom part.

When you port your MAF, it still thinks you have a certain amount of air going through that MAF sensor. More air is going through than it really thinks there is. When you add air and not more fuel then you get a lean condition. What you need to do now is program your MAF 1-4 table to compensate for the increase in MAF size.

Adjustable fuel regulator wont do anything for the issue. I dont have an OBD II car, but if those are O2 sensors lean (the only lean warning I know of), then its an exaust leak more likely than the MAF.

sounds like a busted MAF or a massive vacuum leak. could be the headers leaking but since you have the problem on both sides it would seem the issue is somewhere in the intake or before combustion.
