Question spintech exhaust

Anybody have one?? Ive heen told the sound really good, but i havent heard one in person(at least one that i knew was a spintech). I went to the track tonight, and i think at least one fbody was running spintech, and it sounded awsome. But i couldnt hear how it sounded at idle. Anybody know? Anysound clips? Thanks.

All mufflers and exhaust systems will sound different on all cars. It can change note due to the type of headers, Cat or Cat delete, size of exhaust pipe, mandrel bend or crimp bend, cam, heads, etc....

I've got the Edelbrock TES Headers, Off Road Pipe, Dynatech Exhaust Cone Insert in the Off Road Pipe, and Edelbrock Cat Back... it sounds like no other and leaves people scratching their heads.

But, I've heard of good results with the free flow characteristic of the Spin Techs.

I think Mineral is running a Spin Tech. If I remember right he likes it. But, I have not heard anything lately.

I understand that, but it would still give me a general idea of what it would sound like. If what i heard at the track last night was a spintech, then they sound great at WOT, but i want a nice sound at idle, i want to hear it when im sitting at a light. Thanks.

Don't have one but have heard a few. They sound amazing in my opinion at WOT, but are a little quiet at idle. But if you are looking for the sleeper effect then it is a nice exhaust. Not overly quiet but more so than many out there. It was just a few notes deeper than stock and perhaps twice as loud as stock.

later,
jomo

one of my buddies has spintech on his 97, at idle (like sitting at a light) it sounds almost the same as stock but at WOT it sounds great, his car is realtively stock it has a slp CIA and roller rockers no cam yet though, just like wild1 said it can vary with all those things you can do , but he likes the spintech and the flow #s were pretty good i heard as well . hope i helped!
