So my car has been actin weird

Recently, if I'm in any gear and slam on the gas, the car will accelerate, but kinda buck and surge.

It kinda feels like the clutch is slipping

The engine seems to be revving normally but the rest of the car isn't following...or so it seems.

But yesterday, while on a date downtown on the highway, my check engine light came on, but then went off and hasn't come on today.

My idle is also a little weird. It'll vary between 800-1000rpms, and sometimes sit at 1200.

Seems maybe the problems are related to the ignition and optispark..

Car has 113K on it.

plug wire or plugs.. look for a plug wire either being burnt or being hit by the belt and cut. The SES light coming on then going off is from a missfire (usually). I would check your plug wires then go from there.
