Question Bad Opti? (not misfiring)

I just replaced my WP seal in the timing chain cover due to an oil leak. I did not completely remove the Opti but did loosen the bolts and drop it a bit to replace the seal. After buttoning everything back together, it sounds like something tunmbling around in the opti. The car revs fine and seems smooth on power but it has me concerned. I am a little concerned that it may be a rod bearing, as I had to hit the balancer a bit with a hammer to get it off, but am hoping it is the Opti. What could be inside that may have comeloose? Any and all ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks,

Kyle
