Bad o2 sensors, I think.
Bad o2 sensors, I think.
Ok, I feel I have at least 1 bad front o2 sensor or both. Where can I get new ones, how much do they cost, and I should stay away from the bosch, right? Is the stealership the only place to get the stock sensors? I replaced 1 sensor and the ses light went away. this sensor was pitch black. I'm thinking the other one may be bad now also. I also have the home made extentions now. Ses light is back, and the car surges at idle. I'm thinking that they went bad first do to a burnt wire missing and then the ceramic coated jet hot headers breaking in. I've seen on here that the coating burning off causes them to go bad.

Hey I had a bad o2 sensor. My car signs were the idle was off and when the car got warm there was a bad miss - like it was hesatating. Very very poor performance. You can buy those at autozone - anywhere mostly.- murrays, pep boys. Call around for a price. I paid 49.00 each for bosch o2 sensors. It's amazing how a sensor like that could have a huge impact on your cars performance - A huge impact. Bousch makes really good o2 sensors I been driving with no problems with those sensors there awesome. Mine went out when I had my manifolds replaced with headers. I think the headers push allot the sut and it clogs the o2 sensor. But yeah go with bousch I had no problems -

Talk to Jason Cromer @ Sam Taylor buick cadillac (www.samtaylor.com) parts department. A 4 Wire GM O2 is $37.00. I know because I just ordered two of them recently.
