bad icm ground

bad icm ground

1995 lt1 no spark ,I have a bad icm ground I've cleaned and checked every ground wire. The opt is new and had icm checked . The car ran fine sat 4 a week and no start.

If you're sure it's the ICM ground, then run a wire from the battery over there and see if it starts working. You hear the fuel pump prime? You checked it for spark at one of the plugs or the coil?

How did you determine you have no ground to the ICM?

Have you scanned it for codes?

No codes. I used a ohms meter as shoebox site states. I'm getting a reading of .57 every thing else is good.

.57 ohms? Are you sure about the scale and did you check your leads to make sure when touched together you got 0 ohms?. .57 ohms is a ground, it's just not 0. That could even be from a marginal connection to your meter leads. I'd be a little skeptical this is really your trouble. What did you get during cranking on the white wire (B) using the ac scale?

Yes I got 0 ohms when I touched them together. The white wire has 2.40 ac volts
