Bad gas cause car not to start?
Bad gas cause car not to start?
I have had more problems with this damn car than I think anybody has ever had. I think I really got a lemon with this one. Well my car was parked for about 2 1/2 weeks and it has rained for 4 days and then snowed and I didn't really drive the car much since I got gas last time and I'm wondering if it got condensation in the tank from sitting for a while because it was 65 one day then cold and rainy then 28 degrees. The car has spark, it started up fine then I let it run for a while and it just seemed the longer that it ran the worse it got. Finally after about 5 minutes it just died out and wouldn't start back up. It will crank and crank and almost turn over but it just won't get there. I put a bottle of fuel dryer to see if that helped the problem any, and it seems to be a little bit better but it still won't start. Does anybody have any suggestions on what I can try???
Also I have good fuel pressure it's a Walbro 255lph in-tank pump and it is working properly.
Thanks in advance for your help

Re: Bad gas cause car not to start?
It isn't the gas. I'm using 3 year old gas in my lawnmower. My T/A sits all winter & I start it every 2 weeks & it's OK. I'd check your fuel filter & your spark for strength not to mention the wires at night. Spray some soapy water on all the wires , the soap will help the water "stick" to the wires.
