Back of LT1 intake manifold.

There is 2 things on the back of these manifolds. I know one is the EGR, but what is the other? I havent actually seen whats back there to see if I recognized it but have seen the manifolds out of the car without it there to see what it was.

the hole on the driver's side is for the EGR valve (a round black thing) and the hole on the pass. side is for the EGR hose that runs to the pass. exhaust manifold.

You're not an English major, are you?

Sorry, There "are" two bosses on the back of the LT1 intake manifold. Actually, I understand because I sometimes think that some of the simple errors people make are pretty entertaining. You are right though, I am in no way an English major. I would rather be working on a computer where it will tell me if I messed something up than teaching a class and having to correct all of their mistakes(obviously I make enough of my own).

Oh, and thanks for the picture. I had looked on that site for a picture of it, but just overlooked it somehow.

Thanks

Ben

Sorry I busted your 'nads..... it just gets frustrating seeing people post problems about worn out breaks and arching plug wires........ I'm sure you have noticed the same thing.

My bad.... .

Sorry.

Thanks for the appology. I know I seem new, and I am to the LT1, but I have been around thirdgen.org for a long time and understand how anoying all these quesions get. We get a lot of "do fourthgen seats fit in a thirdgen" type questions. Thanks for understanding.
